The Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) is the peak body of dietetic and nutrition professionals, providing strategic leadership in food and nutrition through empowerment, advocacy, education, accreditation and communication. 


 DAA works to serve both members and the wider community with the following vision:

Leadership in dietetics, food and nutrition for healthier people and healthier nations

As a non-profit member organisation, DAA is the national association of the nutrition and dietetics profession, with branches in each State and Territory, representing more than 6,200 members, who are employed in a wide variety of areas including clinical dietetics, community nutrition, education, private sector, government, research and industry. DAA provides a range of publications and facilitates continuing professional education events to keep members informed about the profession and current issues in nutrition and dietetics.
