DAA has recently responded through a media release to the significant job cuts within the public health nutrition workforce in Queensland Health. The Association is disappointed by the short-sightedness of the Queensland Government in this area. Food Security for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples Policy

A joint policy of DAA and the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA). The purpose of the policy document is to provide succinct data about the current situation in relation to food security for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia, and outline the action the DAA and the PHAA will undertake to address the issues identified.

Joint Position Statement on the Health of People with Intellectual Disabilities

This position was developed by DAA in conjunction with the National and NSW Councils for Intellectual Disability and the Australian Association of Developmental Disability Medicine.
