Not working in related industryEmployed in an industry where a nutrition/dietetics qualification is not a criteria for employment. Not eligible for membership of APD program. If you wish to have APD status, select another category.
Overseas – working outside Australia (Partial Services)Living and working overseas. This is a partial services category.
Retired (Full Services)Retired from employment for reasons of health or age (over 55 years)
Retired (Partial Services)As above but does not receive hard copy of Journal
StudentStudents enrolled in a DAA accredited course who have NOT completed their entry level qualifications
Affiliate (Overseas) (Partial Services)Dietitians living outside Australia who are current full members of an overseas national dietetic association which is recognised by the ICDA and who are not eligible for full DAA membership
Associate (Full)Hold an Australian human nutrition qualification and are not eligible for full DAA membership
Associate (Unemployed)As above absent from employment
Associate (Retired) (Partial Services)Retired from employment for reasons of health and age (over 55 years). Does not receive hard copy of Journal.
Associate (Student)Currently enrolled in a Australian human nutrition course and not eligible for student or full DAA membership

  • Paid employment in any field is taken into account in determining the appropriate membership fees.
