An example of subjects studied in a 4 year Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics Program in an Australian accredited dietetics program is listed below. Individual programs can be viewed via the links to Accredited Dietetics Programs. Programs vary, but the outline listed below contains the key elements required to meet the Tertiary Program criterion for an assessment of eligibility to sit the professional examination in dietetics.
Please note that there should be a progression in content, based on passing of one subject to the next, in the areas of biochemistry, physiology and basic nutrition
