Examination applications and closing dates
Once you are assessed as eligible to sit the examination you will be able to download an examination form from the Professional Development Support section of the website. Details of proposed venues for the next examinations are available on the website. Go to Examination venues and dates.
The closing date for applications for the July 2012 written exam is 17 May 2012.
The closing date for applications for the September 2012 written exam is 1 July 2012 (tbc)
The closing date for applications for the March 2013 written exam is 2 January 2013 (tbc)
Written exam sittings are organised by an Exam Clearing House. Therefore late applications cannot be accepted. A cancellation fee will be applied if candidates withdraw from an exam.
The application form must be completed in English and certified copies of the following documents MUST be included with the application. (DO NOT send originals: Send original CERTIFIED COPIES. Also include original certified copies of translations into English of any of the documents that are issued in a language other than English):
- Two officially certified recent passport-size photograph of your self, endorsed on the reverse with name and signature if you have not already sent these with your Application for Assessment of Eligibility.
- Officially certified evidence of change of name, eg a marriage certificate (ONLY if the name on your eligibility assessment is different from your current name).
If forged, altered or falsified documents are submitted to DAA, the applicant will forfeit the opportunity to sit the examination and their examination fee will not be refunded. Actual or suspicion of fraud will be communicated to Australian migration authorities by DAA.
