Examination details and sample questions

There are two separate dietetic examinations:
- A 3 hour written Case Study examination; and
- A 45 minute oral examination.
Both the written and oral examinations must be passed within a three year period.
Copies of old examination papers are NOT available for study. However, sample questions and answers for each section of the examination are available. Sample case study questions provide an example of the examination style and format and indicate the depth of knowledge required. They do not necessarily represent the degree of difficulty of the examination or the issues to be covered.

From Sept 2012

- A 60 minute oral examination.
You must pass the written examination to be eligible to sit the oral examination at a later date. Both the written and oral examinations must be passed within a three year period.
