Appeals Process

The standards and processes for assessment and recognition of dietetic qualifications of overseas educated dietitians are established and maintained by the Australian Dietetics Council (ADC).

There are two types of Appeal.

  • Appeal of Assessment of Eligibility to Sit Examinations in Dietetics for Overseas Educated Dietitians
  • Appeals Relating to the Examinations in Dietetics for Overseas Educated Dietitians

All appeal applications must be in writing and must be received by DAA within 15 days of DAA sending notification of the outcome of either an assessment or an exam.  Please read the Appeals section of the Dietetic Skills Recognition By-Law carefully  to ensure your application for an appeal is lodged correctly and within the required time frame.

Applications must be accompanied by the appropriate fee.

If you have any questions regarding the Appeals Process please email the Dietetic Skills Recognition Administrator
